Because of her unique outlook on life, this Chicago-born mother and grandmother has been a movie extra for Kevin Costner’s Waterworld, volunteer firefighter, clothing model for Sears, exchange student mother, founding member and board member of Waimea Main Street, creator and manager of a Hawaiian Bed & Breakfast, PTA president and committee member, laborer for Habitat for Humanity, serial entrepreneur, Park District director, member of the Iditarod Trail Committee, Inc., board member for MWAH! [Messages Which are Hopefil] suicide prevention, and now as author and motivational speaker.
Jeanne, an ordinary baby-boomer, without money or a college degree was placed onto a strange and unforeseen path. That long, winding road, with its twists and turns, detours and stops, led her at age 57 to a contract job in Antarctica with its extreme adventures and quirky residents. Not knowing what could possibly be next in her life journey experiences, a suggestion by award-winning author, Linda Collison, prompted her to pen those adventures. 
Jeanne continues to relish life’s treasured moments as she travels to distant lands, encounters new friends, and explores other cultures.

A lifelong lover of history, Kea first discovered an interest in genealogy through both of her grandmothers. Their stories and curiosity about family roots sparked what has now become a true obsession. In the last decade her focus has turned toward genealogy and forensic genealogy, bringing a deeper understanding of how essential it is for today and tomorrow's generations to learn about their ancestors. Driven by this passion, Kea is committed to documenting family lives and preserving the legacies that connect past, present, and future.
